Reconstructive Surgery

Injuries, illnesses or extensive tumour removal can cause large tissue deficits, resulting in non-convolution.

Reconstructive plastic surgery can intervene both surgically and conservatively for their healing.

In major injuries deficiencies also occur in deeper tissue structures, such as blood vessels, nerves, tendons, joints. Similarly, an open fracture, which is no longer covered by soft tissues, can lead to serious bone infection.

In the case of cancer, radical surgical removal of the tumour generates large deficits.

If this cannot be conventionally closed, then the flap technique is used, i.e. tissue transport from some other part of the body to the deficit area using microsurgery.

Even after orthopedic surgery, plastic reconstructive surgery can intervene for rapid and minimal scarring of healing.
