Liposuction

Liposuction is one of the most popular safe and less dangerous interventions in plastic surgery.

Most of the time, it occurs in the belly, legs, buttocks and other parts of the body such as the profile or the arms. With the liposuction process, 3-6 kg of fat can be removed. If a patient needs to take more fat, this should be done in a second operation.

Liposuction is not used as a means of losing weight, but for the treatment of problematic areas. With liposuction, we shape the proportions of the body. The cushions are removed by removing fat cells and fatty tissue under the skin and thus permanently removed. In the legs and buttocks, the skin is quite elastic, so after liposuction, it adapts to the new body shape.

Liposuction requires small incisions on the skin about 0.5 centimetres in length. These are necessary to penetrate a fine needle (2-4 mm). In this way, liposuction begins. The tissue is extracted with a vacuum pump through the cannula and moves back and forth to loosen the fat cells. After suturing the wounds, the patient wears the compression garment.
